During the first year, you will be a part of our programme to create the Manufacturing System of
the Future.

 

Main responsibilities

IT/OT Architect role

  • Create and maintain the OT architecture
    blueprint
  • Create efficient interfaces and smoothening
    the organizational barriers between IT and OT
  • Create new OT architecture standards and
    specifications and make sure they are simply explained and well understood, on
    both the factory floor and in the office
  • Be the architecture speaking partner for
    factories and divisions during projects

Solution Owner OT role

  • Provide strategic direction, roadmap and standards within area of
    responsibility, align with business strategies and IT architecture
  • Solution owner for automation solutions,
    software and hardware.
  • Life cycle management of OT applications
    (developed by or directly for IKEA Industry) it contains Device Integration
    Platform, Manufacturing Service Bus, Historian and integration to shop floor.
    Role should have knowledge about PLC systems, HMI, SCADA, shop floor
    connectivity, OPC UA, OPC Classic, fieldbuses, cabinets etc.
  • Stay updated on new solutions and
    technologies, be innovative and bring future ideas to our business
  • Manage relationship with other parts of
    IKEA, external service providers, suppliers and partners.

 

 

 

Is this your next challenge?

You have an academic background, in Computer Science, Engineering or equal working
experience. You have at least five years working experience from an international
or manufacturing organization.Experience from implementation/realization of IT
products and services, including project management and product life cycle
management.

As an individual, you combine an analytical and structural mind with drive, curiosity, enthusiasm and integrity. You build relationships and communicate with ease on all levels of the organization. You are service minded and meet every person with a positive attitude. You have good leadership capabilities. You enjoy working in a multicultural and international
environment. The position requires global travelling and you have good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

You will report to the IT Operations Manager.
